Cookie Policy.

The few cookies Recvis uses, and the optional, cookie-free analytics you can allow or decline.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work, such as remembering that you are signed in. Others track you across sites for analytics or advertising. We only use the first kind.

The cookies we use

CookieWherePurposeHow long
better-auth.session_tokenClient dashboardKeeps you signed in and protects your account7 days, renewed at most once a day while you use the dashboard; removed when you sign out
better-auth.stateGoogle sign-in onlyProtects the sign-in step against forgery5 minutes

On the secure site, browsers show these names with a __Secure- prefix. Both are strictly necessary: without them you cannot sign in. They are set only when you use the dashboard, and they are never used to track you.

Optional analytics

When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may count visits and measure page speed. Nothing is measured until you choose Allow, and choosing Decline changes nothing else on the site.

ServiceProviderWhat it measuresCookies
Web AnalyticsVercelPages visited, referring site, country, browser and device typeNone
Speed InsightsVercelHow fast pages load and respond, with browser and device typeNone

Neither service sets cookies or follows you to other sites, and we don't use them for advertising. We don't report pages inside the client dashboard, and we remove anything private from addresses before they are sent.

Your theme and privacy choices

If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers the choice using local storage, a feature similar to a cookie. Your answer to the privacy banner is remembered the same way. Both stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, but you won't be able to sign in to the dashboard.

To change your analytics choice, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.

If we ever add other optional cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first. For questions, use the Talk to us form. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data generally.
