The best AI visibility tools for Indian businesses.

Profound, Semrush, Ahrefs, Peec AI, Otterly and Recvis compared for Indian businesses: what each tracks, how it is priced, and which fits a team that sells in India.

Updated 26 October 2026 · 3 min read

The short answer

An AI visibility tool asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI the questions your buyers ask, and shows how often you are named and who is named instead. Most of the well-known tools were built for US and European teams with an in-house SEO person. Which one fits depends on three things:

  • Who will act on it. A dashboard is only useful if someone on your team has time to fix what it finds.
  • Where your buyers are. AI answers change with the asker's country and city. A local business needs answers as a buyer in its own city would see them.
  • How you want to pay. Most tools bill in US dollars or euros, by the number of questions tracked.

Full disclosure: we make Recvis, one of the tools below. We have tried to describe every tool fairly, including where another one is the better choice.

What each one does well

Profound is the most complete platform for big brands: many engines, many markets, and deep reporting on how AI talks about you. It is built for enterprise teams and priced that way.

Semrush and Ahrefs have added AI visibility to tools many SEO teams already pay for. If you work in one of them every day, starting there makes sense.

Peec AI and Otterly.AI are simple self-serve trackers: pick your prompts, see where you show up, check back each week. Good value if someone on your team will do the fixing.

Recvis researches the questions buyers in your category ask, asks every one on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews as a buyer in your city would, and turns the gaps into a short list of changes in plain words. On the Growth plan we make those changes for you. See how we score.

Why India needs its own answers

Ask an AI for the best tile supplier for a hotel project from Bengaluru and from London and you get different businesses. A tool that only asks from the US can tell an Indian business it is invisible, or that its competitors are companies its buyers never consider.

Recvis asks as a buyer in your own city where the engine allows it, and splits competitors into those in India and those abroad, so you can see whether you are losing to the firm down the road or to a global brand.

How to choose

  • You have an SEO team and already pay for Semrush or Ahrefs: try their AI visibility features first.
  • You are a large brand tracking many markets: Profound.
  • You want a cheap self-serve tracker and will do the work yourself: Otterly.AI or Peec AI.
  • You sell in India and want someone to find and fix the gaps: Recvis. Start with the free AI visibility checker.
